The aim of this course is to train technicians and their managers on the safe, effective and legal use of air guns for bird control. Theory will be covered in the morning session, with a shooting practical in the afternoon. The course starts with the basics for newcomers, but also comprehensively covers a lot of procedures and techniques for the experienced shooter. Course Code: COU014

An opportunity to have your Air Rifles inspected and tested.
Marksman techniques. Air Rifles will be provided, although we do advise delegates to bring their own for use and testing. Outdoor clothing will be required.
This course is suitable for beginners seeking a good grounding in all aspects of bird work; through to experienced technicians seeking an update on new products and alternative techniques. Discussion of systems and techniques, including when and where to use each system and the advantages and limitations of each system. Includes Netting, Bird Spikes, Birdwire, Gullwire, Coil, Daddi Long Legs and Gull Grids. All equipment, tools and materials will be demonstrated.
